As an admin, you could manage products that are on pre-order or out of stock lists.
The notify me widget (or anything else you’d like to name it) only appears when a customer selects an attribute (size/color/etc.) that isn’t available.
When a shopper clicks on a widget, they’re asked to fill out their contact info with an optional message.
Stock Alerts will provide you, the merchant, insight as to what your customers are showing interest in - which in turn helps in determining what and how much to order from manufacturers and how to manage the demand.
You will have full control of the back-end system.
Once the item is back in stock, Stock Alert will automatically detect the new stock level and fire off an email to every shopper that requested to be notified.
Another cool feature: you can customize the email to include a "buy now" button that will take the shoppers to your store automatically, adding that particular product to their cart and sending them straight to your checkout page. ALL IN ONE CLICK. Talk about easy!
Merchant's will also be able to track all analytics & conversion rates.
