Troubleshooting Header And Footer Problems For An Affiliate

Make sure that you are really associated with the affiliate that you're testing for. Once you have visited the store with an affiliates link and become associated with that affiliate that association will remain for the full retention period. Subsequently visiting with a different affiliate's referral will NOT change the initial association. So it often happens that during testing you're using one affiliate's link expecting to see the configuration that you provided for that affiliate, but you don't see it because you are in fact still associated with the initial affiliate.

You can work around this by setting the retention period very low (and letting it expire), setting the retention to be 1 order and placing an order which will then break the affiliation, or deleting the htscallerid cookies on your pc for that domain.
